TelLab launches online hand & surface sanitiser shop for UK customers

T.E. Laboratories (TelLab) has launched an online shop to serve the UK market for hand and surface sanitisers at https://tellab.co.uk. This follows a number of significant bulk orders for hand and surface sanitiser from multinationals for their  UK bases.

TelLab – already a producer of 70% isopropyl alcohol-based surface sanitiser for the Irish pharmaceutical industry – commenced producing hand sanitiser to the World Health Organisation recommended formula with the onset of the Covid 19 crisis in Ireland in March 2020.

Following successfully fulfilling large-scale bulk orders from existing and new customers, in April 2020, we opened our Irish hand and surface sanitiser webshop at https://tellab.ie/shop to meet demand for smaller orders from SMEs and micro-enterprises.

At the same time, we have had demand for hand and surface sanitisers from a number of large UK companies, and, replicating our Irish strategy, we have now also open an online web-shop at https://tellab.co.uk for smaller UK orders and customers, who can pay securely by credit card in Sterling and have their order shipped from our stock-holding in Worcester, allowing for same-day dispatch.

TelLab is a registered biocide producer. Our hand sanitiser liquid rub is formulated to the WHO recommended formula – containing 78% ethanol (v/v), in addition to glycerol for skin conditioning and moisturising, which, in turn, increases user tolerance.   We also produce hand sanitiser gel – also with  78% alcohol content (v/v) and glycerol.

Our surface sanitiser is formulated with 70% isopropyl alcohol –  the gold standard for biocidal surface cleaning in the strictly governed pharma and life science industries. The absence of glycerol in this formulation allows for smear and grease free surface sanitisation.

Recent laboratory studies cited by the US Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) have demonstrated that  alcohol at the above concentrations can  efficiently inactivate  SARS CoV 2 (Covid 19) within 30 seconds.
