Start Date: 1 January 2016 ; End Date: 31 December 2017
Summary of Project:
This project is the continuation of the EU funded FP7 project: Aquawarn. Aquamonitrix is the development and optimisation of the work done in the Aquawarn project.
It aims to develop a portable reliable water monitoring device with applications in all water matrices. It currently measures pH, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate.
While some optimisation is required on the chemical analytical lab on a chip system, the main work currently being undertaken is on making the device “smart” i.e. allowing remote control of the device, communication with other data/sensors e.g. GIS, development of wireless sensor networks.
This work continues under the Life EcoSens Aquamonitrix project.
