Lubrication Management and Oil Analysis for Maximum Plant Reliability & Lifetime
This is an intensive 3-day course, addressing the core fundamentals of
– best practice lubrication management and
– the use of oil analysis as a key tool in condition monitoring and preventative/predictive maintenance.
It is geared towards reliability, maintenance and lubrication engineers and technicians in manufacturing, fleet operations, power generation and, in fact, any sector that relies on high-value or mission-critical assets.
This course is recognised by Engineers Ireland and provides over 20 CPD hours.
ICML exam and accreditation
When followed by the optional 3-hour, multiple-choice examination on the morning of Friday 24 April, this training also leads to the prestigious and internationally recognised Machine Lubrication Analyst – Level I qualification, awarded by the International Council for Machine Lubrication (ICML).
The 3-day training progarmme places lubrication and oil analysis in the context of an overall reliability or predictive maintenance programme.
Participants will come away understanding and knowing how to implement best practice in
– Lubrication selection, storage and application
– Designing an oil analysis programme for condition monitoring
– Correct procedures for oil sampling
– Interpretation of oil analysis results and trends over time to determine the condition of the oil and any corrective actions needed
– Identifying the early warning signs of problems brewing in plant, machinery and equipment, together with corrective actions needed
Full details of the body of knowledge covered by this course are available by clicking this text here.
On the morning of day four (24 April) participants can opt to do the ICML MLA Level II examinations.
